22 Month old Fussy Eater
Imogen has always loved her food but since Decemember she has been really picky with her food...Altho she grabs my hand and says Eat I go to make her something to eat and she refuses point blank to eating it!
She will go through a whole bunch of bananas during the week
She will eat yoghurts and drink plenty of Juice.
She will have a packet of pom bear crisps
She will have a slice of toast but the next one she will refuse
She will ask for sweets and I say no until she eats tea and screams the place down
She has started to wolf down fish fingers as I thought I would try her with some and she eats it...and screams for more!
Baring in mind I have a 6 month old too...
anyone got any tips or advice for me please

Re: 22 Month old Fussy Eater
Jack went through this phase around 2 too and has only just come out of it!
I can't stand fussy eaters and didn't want to get into a routine of making too different meals everyday. So I would give Jack his tea and not put any pressure on him to eat anything ( I didn't want him associating food with getting upset etc). If he didn't eat anything or started messing with his food etc I just calmly asked him if he wanted any more if he said no he'd get down from the table. But then he had to wait until the next meal/snack time before he was allowed anything else to eat, unless he wanted to go back to his original meal which I left out on the side for say half an hour for him.
Drove me mad for ages as I was throwing away perfectly good food or having to freeze it for another time but in the end he started eating loads more again without any hassling from me and will eat most meals now. xx
